Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to Silver/Gators?
We continuous reevaluate our swim programs to ensure the best programs for our swimmers. Which is why we have restructured our swim structure for our Summer 2023 season. Now all swimmers must be registered for California Gold, and our coaches will sort swimmers into skill level to ensure they receive the correct instruction. A registration option will still be offered in California Gold for April-July only to allow people to continue swimming summers only.

Do you offer any type of lessons?
Oakdale Aquatics offers two week introductory classes through our Bronze program. Bronze helps swimmers learn to float, kick, blow bubbles so that way they can pass the swim test. For more information regarding Bronze visit oakdaleaquatics.com/bronze

What steps do I take if we are new and are looking to sign up my child?
- We are excited to hear you are interested in joining Oakdale Aquatics. If you are new to our team, we require a swim test to be preformed. Come to the pool deck any day Monday-Friday from 6:30-7:30 and one of our coaches can perform a test.
-
Once the swim test is performed, if you aren’t sure which program is the right decision one of our coaches can recommend a program that will best suit your swimmer. Head to oakdaleaquatics.com click Register in the top right hand corner and select the program you are registering for.
-
We look forward to seeing you on the pool deck soon!

What does my child need for practice?
We recommend each swimmer to bring a swim suit, goggles, towel, and we strongly recommend a swim cap for girls.
