A USA Swimming Program For All Abilities.

Gold operates year round and is for athletes with the ability level of novice or higher ages 6 - 18. Silver is for our novice to intermediate swimmers, just starting out. Athletes will learn all four of the competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle) and learn how to compete in a range of events consisting of these strokes. New athletes will be required to pass a swim test, prior to starting.

We Priortize The Process Over The Result And Teach Atheletes To Compete How They Practice.

Part of our coaching philosophy is that the pool deck is our classroom, practices are our “lectures”/lessons, and swim meets are our tests. We emphasize the step-by-step coaching process. Athletes learn the absolute basic swimming fundamentals of breath control, kicking, stroke work, and proper demonstration of listening to coaches before moving to more technical elements of the sport.

Our age group program emphasizes the importance of maximizing distance per stroke in all races. Success is measured as much in practice as it is at swim meets. It is our goal that athletes will become proficient and excel in each of the four strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle) and the individual medley, in order to become stronger, faster, more comfortable, and more confident athletes.
