High School Aged
The Senior Water Polo Program Is An Advanced Level For High School Aged Athletes.
The goal is to provide the skills and understanding of the sport required for the level of competition found on the Oakdale High School team. In the Senior program, athletes will integrate fundamentals into increasingly complex individual skills involving situational awareness that will be applied to games and tournaments. Game experience for this group ranges from local scrimmages to national tournaments that are highly competitive. These all will serve as a great foundation for the high school season in the fall.

All Senior athletes are required to be a member of USA Water Polo with a minimum membership of Gold level ($135 per year) for access to all tournaments. Gold level membership is eligible for all USAWP athlete activity, including club practices, sanctioned events, National Championship Events (i.e. Junior Olympics) and all Olympic Development Program (ODP) participation including Zone Teams and ODP National Championships.
We Priortize The Process Over The Result And Teach Athletes To Compete How They Practice.
Our Senior program emphasizes the importance of proper water polo skills and situational awareness needed to participate in competitive games. Success is measured as much in practice as it is at games. It is our goal that athletes will become proficient, stronger, faster, more comfortable, and more confident athletes.
